ALIDI Sets up in Kenya

September, 16, 2013. ALIDI made the first deliveries to outlets in Nairobi (Kenya) where the company will be responsible for Nestle goods distribution on a part of the country’s territory. ALIDI is the first Russian logistic and distribution company to start up in Africa. This project is very important for further company business development.
"Starting operations in Kenya is the next step in implementation of ALIDI development strategy, which is focused on business diversification and on entreing developing markets. There is no doubt, that countries of the East Africa are the points of world economy growth today. We visited 6 African countries during our work on the project. We decided to start up company business development in Africa in Kenya, because our proposal there was required by our partner Nestle.

And in the nearest future we will have an opportunity to develop business in Kenya and other countries in Eastern Africa".
By the midst of July ALIDI Kenya, LTD company was registered. The team of ALIDI Kenya did it best to choose and rent the office and warehouse buildings. The total square of the buildings is more than 500 meters and they are located at the following address: Cape Business Park, Thika Road, P.O. Box 19569 – 00202, Nairobi, Kenya. At the same the same time the company started to recruit the personnel.
August, 23 – ALIDI and Nestle signed the distribution contract. September, 2 – ALIDI made the 1st goods purchase. September, 16 – sales representatives in ALIDI Kenya effected their first sales. The main goals for the nearest future is to expand the sales volume and coverage of the ex-distributor of the territory, to make the trade units become self-sustaining and to develop new territories.
