ALIDI milestones - 2014
02.03.2015ALIDI, a leading Russian distribution and logistics company, summarized the results of 2014. ALIDI turnover exceeded $485 million, demonstrating 14% growth in comparison with the previous year
In 2014 ALIDI confirmed its status of a reliable partner once again by winning the «The Distributor of the Year» competition by Procter&Gamble in Russia and Belarus.
Winning the tender on providing corporate consulting services of Procter&Gamble products on the whole territory of Russia was an important achievement of ALIDI team in 2014. 5 extra offices were opened in Voronezh, Ekaterinburg, Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk, Chelyabinsk during the project. Today there are 500 employees in the consultants’ department.
Over the last year ALIDI significantly strengthened its position on the distribution market in all operating countries and expanded its brand portfolio.
In 2014 the list of ALIDI contracts was accompanied by an agreement with the Turkish company Ozden Group. ALIDI became an exclusive importer of VILO means for footwear. Furthermore, ALIDI became a distributor of Pure Chocolate confectionery, De Cecco pasta, Cargill products, «Sun of Mexico city» ingredients for Mexican food, skin care protection products Skincare.
As well as increasing the number of partners, ALIDI explored new business areas. In 2014, the department responsible for the delivery of food products to HoReCa segment companies started its work. Also last year the company established the department responsible for tender sales and delivery of household chemical goods to the state agencies in Saint-Petersburg and the Leningrad Region.
ALIDI achieved significant success in Belarus – the company demonstrated more than 70% turnover growth during the last year.
ALIDI Kenya achieved outstanding results during one year. The division started operations in September 2013 and demonstrated 20 times turnover growth by the end of 2014. ALIDI is the first Russian distribution company which started working in Africa. In 2013 ALIDI began its work in Kenya as Nestle distributor in 2 regions and in 9 months the company started to provide distribution services for Nestle on the whole territory of the country.
ALIDI success is proved by the trust of the Russian business community. In 2014 the company became the leader of the industry ratings once again. ALIDI is on the 2nd place among the biggest Russian logistic service providers by EALA (Eurasian Logistic Association). Furthermore, ALIDI won the «National logistics service provider of the chains» nomination. Peter Demchenkov, ALIDI CEO, became the leader among logistic companies top-managers, according to Finam.
In 2014, ALIDI proved its position as an attractive employer and took the 3rd place in the HR-brand contest in Belarus.
