ALIDI Made Presentation at «Oracle Day 2009»

ALIDI Group attended business innovation forum «Oracle Day 2009», held in Moscow. ALIDI representatives were invited as speakers at the conference. Konstantin Starovoytov, IT Director at ALIDI Group, and German Kukharev, Head of information systems department, made a presentation based on company’s unique experience “How to implement Oracle J.D. Edwards Enterprise One”.

«Oracle Day» is an annual event, organized by Oracle – world leading producer of corporate software. For the first time the Forum was held in Russia, as annual international conference «Oracle Open World» in San Francisco. The topic of the forum was: “Experience and innovations: interaction effect”. The attendees got possibility to learn more about Oracle products in order to optimize IT expenses. The forum gathered both new clients and standing customers of Oracle.

Event gathered more than 1000 attendees from deferent sectors. Industry leaders made presentations how to success in current market conditions. General session opened the event. In included presentations of Boris Scherbakov, Vice-President Oracle Corporation, Director General at Oracle CIS; Alfonso Di Ianni, Senior Vice President for the Oracle business in the European Enlargement and CIS Region; Andrew Sutherland, Senior Vice President of middleware for Oracle EMEA; Chris Baker, Senior Vice President, Core Technology, EMEA.

All activities on the forum were divided into sections: Financial, Telecommunications, Transport and Logistics, Retail and Distribution and etc. ALIDI was represented in the section «Decisions for growing business». ALIDI and Oracle have longstanding business partnership: JD Edwards Enterprise One was launch in 2005 in one of ALIDI branches. Today all 20 branches of ALIDI Group work using Oracle JD Edwards Enterprise. ALIDI’s presentation on the forum was dedicated to the successful experience of IT application.
