ALIDI Becomes the Biggest Taxpayer of the Nizhny Novgorod Region
22.07.2011ALIDI, a leading Russian distribution and logistics company, was awarded by the government of the Nizhny Novgorod region for the “Contribution in the economy of the Nizhny Novgorod region and of the Russian Federation and for being a prompt payer of all taxes and other payments in 2010”.
In 2011 113 companies got the Government award; ALIDI became the biggest Taxpayer twice in a row.
Valery Shantstev, the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, and Nikolay Polyakov, the Head of the Federal Tax Service of Russia in the Nizhny Novgorod region, took part in the award ceremony.
The Governor said that the joint initiative of Federal Tax Service and the regional government, that was launched 11 years ago, had become a good tradition. He emphasized that the Nizhny Novgorod region is the only Russian region where taxpayers are awarded.
In 2011, to get the award, companies had to pay taxes in time, have no debts, increase profits of the tax base and not to violate tax laws.
